To ensure improved experiences for all community members, incorporate high standards for inclusivity into the professional evaluations of all employees.

Because performance review processes can help cultivate our professional culture of growth and accountability, recent revisions of Episcopal’s faculty evaluation protocols defined expectations for inclusivity. By studying best practices in independent schools and in other industries, we can strengthen these faculty expectations and enhance the professional evaluations of staff members and administrators. Successful DEI work requires sustained attention and constant recommitments; including DEI expectations in all employees’ annual evaluations will help ensure this culture of continual growth.
