Grace Haupt - Ensemble Member in Fiddler on the Roof
What do you enjoy most about EA Theatre?
"I love that the theatre program has brought me into contact with so many people I wouldn’t otherwise know. I’ve put on these shows while also making lifelong friends. I’ve done three Domino Club Productions, but this is my first musical!"
Advice for cast members?
"My best advice is to spend as much time with friends as possible right now. At the current moment, that means calling, FaceTime-ing, Zoom-ing, and Skype-ing. Even though we can’t be physically together, we shouldn’t let that be isolating. Our friends are the best aid we have."
Theatre and Dance Department Chair Dan Clay
"Before Grace got involved in our plays and musicals, she was a faithful audience member. I’m sure she came to see the shows because she loves theatre, but I know that the most important reason was to be a cheerleader to her friends. When she started doing the shows, her support didn’t stop. She is one of the most positive and encouraging students I have worked with. I speak for everyone when I say that we love having her around. I wish that she started performing earlier, but there are so many activities that Grace loves to do. We were lucky to have had her for three productions and we’ll certainly miss her as she heads off to Haverford next year! I’m glad she’ll be close, so she can come and visit us!" shared Theatre and Dance Department Chair, Dan Clay.
