Wide Receiver Jackson Orcutt '26 Wins Mini Maxwell Award

Senior wide receiver Jackson Orcutt has been selected for the Mini Maxwell Award by the Maxwell Football Club.

Jackson is Delaware County's top wide receiver, tallying 50 passes for 909 yards and 11 touchdowns over 50 yards. He also set the Inter-Ac record for most receiving yards in a season and career touchdown catches. The team won a share of the Inter-Ac Championship and ended the impressive season, 9-1.

"I am extremely grateful and honored to receive this award," said Jackson. "I couldn’t have done this without the support of my teammates, who pushed me every day, and my coaches, who provided unwavering support."

"Jackson had the unique ability to take over the game in all three phases, whether with a big return, a long touchdown reception, or covering the opponent’s best player on defense," said Coach Todd Fairlie, Hon. "He was a threat literally every play. Jackson was also a leader within our program as a captain. He leaves EA football with a tremendous legacy, being a great role model for his peers, someone I know all the younger players looked up to."

Mini Maxwell winners were selected by their coaches for their accomplishments on the field, along with academics and community service.

"This season was very special, being able to finish my senior year strong, by winning the Inter-Ac and the Sweater alongside my teammates and coaches," shared Jackson. "We overcame a lot and created memories that I’ll cherish forever."

The Maxwell Football Club will select one overall winner, Pennsylvania's High School Player of the Year, at its awards event on Feb.1.
