Three Students Selected for PMEA District 12 Orchestra

Three Upper School musicians have been selected for Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) District Honors Ensembles.

After completing the audition process on Nov. 22, Annie Le '27 (violin), Brian Lee '26 (cello), and Lucy Ren '28 (violin), earned seats in the District 12 Orchestra. 

"EA had three orchestra students audition, and all three gained entry into the District Orchestra," said Orchestra Director James Finegan, Hon. "These dedicated student musicians were among more than 600 public and private school students competing for seats in these honors ensembles, and we are so proud of their accomplishment. A special shoutout to Lucy, who ranked 4th out of 66 violins!"

PEMA District 12 represents public and independent schools in Chester, Delaware, and Philadelphia counties.

The District Orchestra will practice and perform at Unionville High School on Saturday, Jan. 24, at 7 p.m. Concert tickets can be purchased here.
