The 39 Steps Earns 11 Cappies Nominations
The Domino Club's fall production of The 39 Steps has earned 11 Cappies nominations.
"The actors in The 39 Steps were nominated in all but one of the acting categories for which they were eligible," shared Theatre and Dance Department Chair Dan Clay, Hon. "I don't think that's ever happened before. I'm very proud of all of them!"
Nominees include:
- Outstanding 11th Grade Critic: Will Esterhai '24
- Stage Management: Aaron Zhu '25
- Ensemble in a Play: The Party Dancers
- Featured Actress in a Play: Sarah Kotapka '23
- Featured Actor in a Play: Reid Lawler '26
- Comic Actress in a Play: Lindsay Knight '24
- Comic Actor in a Play: Will Esterhai '24
- Supporting Actor in a Play: Jack Cellucci '24
- Lead Actress in a Play: Sarah Memmo '24
- Lead Actor in a Play: Kevin Landaiche '23
- Play: The 39 Steps
The performances of The 39 Steps took place on Friday, Oct. 28, and Saturday, Oct. 29, in the Ridgway Black Box Theater.
Will Esterhai, Lindsay Knight, Sarah Memmo, and Kevin Landiche will represent EA with an excerpt from the play at the live Cappies 2023 Gala on Sunday, May 21, at Cardinal O'Hara High School.
