Ten EA fifth and sixth graders participated in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) District 12 Band Festival.
The students enjoyed the opportunity to perform with other young musicians from 23 Chester County elementary and middle schools.
EA participants included 5th graders, Mia Rothman, Alexander Bailey, Victor Tsai, Alex Patitucci, and Matthew Ying, along with 6th graders, Eve Hyman, Kira Haebler, Vivian Clark, Michelle Zhou, and Luke Wright.
"Since November, our students have been preparing six concert selections for the festival," said Lower School Music Teacher Deb Newnham, Hon. "Our students enjoyed the opportunity to perform with 100 other young musicians from area schools."
The festival was held at Owen J. Roberts High School on Friday, Feb. 17.
