The 134 students in the Class of 2024 are getting ready to embark on their next chapters in the weeks ahead as they head off to more than 80 colleges across the country and around the globe.
"We are so proud of this outstanding group of students, and know that they will go on to do great things at their respective universities and beyond," said Assistant Head of School Chris Torino.
Among our seniors’ many accomplishments, several students also have been awarded notable accolades and awards.
Jason Daum, Michelle Jiang, Gavin Schmidt, and Connor Shanahan were selected as National Merit Scholarship winners out of a talent pool of more than 15,000 Finalists. National Merit Scholarship winners are the Finalists in each state "judged to have the strongest combination of accomplishments, skills, and potential for success in rigorous college studies," according to the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.
EA is also proud to announce that 2024 graduates Kevin McCarthy and Luke Miller are attending the United States Military Academy (West Point), while Winston Tang is attending the United States Naval Academy (Annapolis).
The Class of 2024 was celebrated at the 239th Commencement Exercises on Thursday, June 6.
