Six EA student-musicians have been selected to perform with the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) District 12 band, orchestra, and choir.
"It was a great day for EA’s musicians, as all six students earned seats in these honors ensembles," said Upper School Band Director Ryan Dankanich, Hon.
Ashley Kim ’23 (flute), Hailey Deng ’25 (clarinet), and Theo Engelman ’25 (trumpet), were accepted into the D12 band. Eric Cui ’23 (violin), Michelle Jiang ’24 (violin), and Ashley were accepted into the D12 orchestra.
Jack Cellucci ’24 was selected for the D12 choir.
"Each ensemble will rehearse and perform at their respective festival in January. I am so proud of this group of musicians," said Mr. Dankanich.
The PMEA auditions were held in November.
