Crunching Numbers at Middle School MathCounts Competition

Thirteen Middle School mathematicians shared their skills at the annual MathCounts chapter competition on Saturday, Feb. 21.

After competing in sprint, target, and collaborative team rounds, EA earned an award for most improved school.

Jake Liang '30, Will Ma '31, Elise Markle '30, and Alina Wang '30 combined talents in the collaborative team round.

In addition to Jake, Will, Elise, and Alina, other EA student participants included Tommy Ade '31, Raj Balyan '31, Alexander Bailey '30, Zach Chen '30, Leo Wang '30, Margaret Wu '32, James Yang '31, Ellie Wood '32, and William Zhi '32.

This year's event was held at Garnet Valley Middle School.
