Lunar New Year represents letting go of the past year to bring in the new one and all its possibilities. It is one of the most important celebrations of the year among East and Southeast Asian cultures, including Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean communities, among others. The diverse customs of Lunar New Year include feasting, exchanging gifts, lighting exquisite lanterns, and making offerings to gods and ancestors. Check out this list of Lunar New Year opportunities compiled by Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Ayinde Tate.
