Kendra Williamson '27 Named All-Delco XC Athlete of the Year

Junior cross country runner Kendra Williamson stayed on pace for a spectacular fall 2025 season.

She won the Delco Championship race for the second consecutive year and helped EA win the Delco Championship title for the first time in school history. Kendra has been selected All-Delco Cross Country Athlete of the Year.

After placing third at Northeast Regionals, Kendra qualified for Nike Nationals in Portland, Oregon, where she ran to 16th place (17:37) in a field of 201. Kendra earned All-American honors and was EA's first female runner to qualify for the national race.

Kendra told the Delco Daily Times, "It was exciting. It was cool getting on a plane to go to a race, and it was cool meeting all the girls. They’re such hard-working girls. To be around those girls was amazing.”

Kendra was also named Top Junior Runner by PA Mile Split.

"The thing I like about running is how you can challenge yourself,” Kendra explained. “Even if you did something amazing, like setting records, you always want to do more. There’s always more to accomplish. That’s what I think is so great about the sport.”
