Tri-sport student-athletes Alexis (Lex) Ventresca '23 and Aidan McHugh '23 have been selected for this year's Inter-Ac Directors' awards.
Lex plays field hockey, lacrosse, and runs indoor track. "I am so honored to be recognized for this amazing award," said Lex. "I want to thank my coaches, teammates, and parents for always challenging me to be the best version of myself over the years." Lex said she has also "treasured my four years playing in the Inter-Ac League."
Aidan McHugh helped lead the varsity cross country team to the Inter-Ac, Delco, and PAISAA championships. During the indoor track and field season, the team ran away with the state Indoor Championship and won the Distance Medley Relay National Championship at Nike Indoor Nationals.
"There have been a lot of cool memories here at EA," said Aidan. "My favorite one would have to be EA/Haverford Day my senior year. It's a lot of fun to run with all the fans, friends, and your family watching."
Lex and Aidan, along with this year's winners from the other Inter-Ac schools, will be celebrated at a dinner on Wednesday, May 3.
