Meet Dr. Terry Malone, Head of Lower School

A Philadelphia native, Head of Lower School Dr. Terrance Malone came to Episcopal in 2014 after serving as Lower School Director for The Summit Country Day School in Cincinnati, OH.

Dr. Malone received his Bachelor of Arts in Education from Holy Family University, Master’s in Education Administration from Gwynedd-Mercy University, and Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Northern Kentucky University.

When asked why he loves leading EA’s Lower School, Dr. Malone’s answer is simple: “The kids!” He believes in giving every child the support and attention to shine, and credits his lifelong love of teaching with his passion for education.

Dr. Malone is the proud father of two EA alumni. In his free time, Dr. Malone enjoys soccer, fishing, gardening, and art.
