Stephanos Tsirakoglou '95

Stephanos began his journey at EA with our Chapel Choir and Academy Blues, but his path to becoming a professional Bass-baritone opera singer was far from direct. Among his passions included studying chemistry, in which he majored in college, and for which he taught classes at St. Joseph's, Temple, and Villanova.

Upon entering the world of professional classical music, he began specializing in the Italian buffo and bel canto repertoire. Stephanos was a full-time member of the ensemble at the South Thuringian State Theater in Meiningen, Germany, with guest engagements both in Germany and internationally, including New Orleans, USA, and the Menuhin Festival in Gstadt, Switzerland.

In the upcoming opera season, he will perform in Lehár’s Die lustige Witwe starting in December. View his professional profile to learn more about Stephanos' illustrious career.
