Jennifer D'Angelo '06

Jen, who was a member of the Vestry and the Domino Club, made her writing debut at EA, including clever and iconic scripts she wrote for the Can Drive and Scrooge Chapel. Upon her graduation from EA, she attended Northwestern University before relocating to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams as a writer and performer. One of her most recent projects, Hulu’s Quiz Lady won Best Movie Made for Television at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards.

She got her start doing stand-up and appearing on shows like @midnght, Last Call with Carson Daly, and Adam Devine’s House Party before being cast in *Loosely Exactly Nicole alongside Nicole Byer and Workaholics with Adam Devine. Then, she began working behind the camera as a screenwriter, story editor, and producer. Her television credits include Cougar Town, Fast Food Heights, and Young Rock before she ventured into film with Hocus Pocus 2 for Disney+ and Totally Killer for Amazon Prime. Jen is currently writing Hocus Pocus 3, as well as working on multiple other projects. She was also a loud and viral voice during the 2023 Writers Guild Strike, explaining and calling out the compensation disparities in show business while educating the public about the negotiations.
