Upper School

On Monday (4/08), Grace Smith shared her passion for pursuing equity for women and explained and highlighted why global feminism is significant.

On Wednesday (4/10), candidates for next year's vestry read their statements and US students and faculty cast their votes. The following students were elected to Vestry: Bryce Cooper, Myles Davis, Alaina Guo, Josh Huang, Rachel Letts, Mekhi Rogers, Robert Corrato, and Lily Haupt. They will be installed to the vestry on Tuesday, April 16.

On Friday (4/12), Cheryl McLauchlan, Hon. gave her farewwell Chapel Talk entitled, "Now What," which instructed the students to take every opportunity life offers. Also, she intimated that often time failure, mistakes, and setbacks are other opportunities to learn by asking, "After the crying is over, 'Now what?'"

Middle School

On Tuesday (4/09), the MS Drama Board gave a presentation about pursuing one's passion and having one's light shine out into the world. This delightful and inspiring presentation was lead by I Former Will Esterhai, and II Formers Sarah Kotopka and Logan Schlitt with support from II Formers Sydney Clemmer, Caden Collins, Evie Aldridge, and Lydia Nawrocki. V Former Dominic Minicozzi and VI Former Jake Viscusi also joined Chapel, giving additional insights about how they have pursued their passions throughout their journey at Episcopal.

On Thursday (4/11), guest speakers Khaliah Hahnan and Rasheda Randall spoke to us about the Muslim holiday and fast, Ramadan. They gave wonderful insights into the meaning of the fast and how it builds community. They spoke of Ramadan as a period of fasting, prayer, and reflection intended to renew and empower our connection with the living God.

Lower School

There was no LS Chapel this week.
