Student-athletes who competed in the spring athletic season were recognized during the Spring Athletic Awards Assembly on Friday, May 31.
Varsity letters were awarded to 208 students, 48 played three varsity sports during the 2018-2019 school year. Ten seniors were recognized with the Locked In award for playing an interscholastic sport every season (12) during Upper School. Twenty five student-athletes were named to All Inter-Ac teams.
The boys' 4x400 Relay Team (Jack Bush, Malcolm Folk, Sam Wilson, Chris Zimmerman) that won broke the school record at the Penn Relays received special recognition from Paul Hayward '83 and John Stelwagon '82 who ran on EA's winning 4x400 Relay Team at the Penn Relays in 1981.
