"We had strong leadership from our three seniors with co-captain Caroline Burt finishing 3-1 on the weekend, playing EA #1 for the third consecutive year at HS Nationals."
Sophomore Maya Gambhir was undefeated for the weekend. "Maya capped off a great season where she showed true team match-toughness through the entire EA season. Kristen Weil, our junior at #2 for the weekend, competed with great athleticism and heart but was unable to play in the final match because of an injury," said Coach Holleran.
EA team spirit was positive and strong through the weekend. "The team supported each other throughout. Team co-captains Anna Lee and Caroline Burt concluded the weekend in our team huddle and shared how proud they were of our team and what a fun, positive weekend it was," said Coach Holleran.
