Reopening Update from the Head of School

Dear Parents,

I hope your children had a great first week of school! It has been wonderful to reconnect with them virtually and in-person, for those who were able to join us for some of our on-campus orientation activities. We will continue to find ways to bring students safely together on-campus while we are in our remote learning period, and we cannot wait for the day when we can welcome all students back to campus.

We continue to closely monitor local health data and consult with health experts from our community and CHOP. While we have seen a few upticks in case counts and incident rates this week, the overall trends continue to look favorable for the counties where our students reside. As long as we do not see any major spikes in the next week or two, we are optimistic that we will be able to resume in-person instruction sooner than we had originally planned. I will share more details on potential dates and logistics toward the end of next week.

We ask that all families partner with us to work toward a successful and sustainable return. We encourage everyone to follow CDC guidance related to masking, handwashing, and social distancing, especially during this upcoming holiday weekend. We also ask that all families plan to follow the Pennsylvania state guidelines related to quarantine if they travel out of state.

Thank you all for your continued support. We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend.

Dr. T.J. Locke
