Lower School Ensemble Club Performs at Highgate at Paoli Pointe

The Lower School Ensemble Club travelled to Highgate at Paoli Pointe on Friday, March 9 to perform for residents living at the facility.

Students also distributed cards made by Lower School students. "Having a card in the hand of a student is a simple way to start a conversation with an older person," explained Lower School music teacher Deborah Newnham, Hon. "The cards were beautiful and well-received."

The concert was well-attended, and residents were very appreciative of the students' performance. Many residents sang along with the music. "Music touches the soul and revives memories," said Mrs. Newnham. "I am so glad our students have the opportunity to share their music with the community."
