Ivan Puskovitch '19 has been recognized by the Delaware County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame as one of the winter athletes of the year.
Ivan is a standout swimmer on the boys' swimming and diving team and helped lead the team to its first Inter-Ac Championship since 1970 and first boys' and girls' team win of the Eastern Prep Championships. He also played a key role in setting 11 new team swimming records.
Ivan set new school records in the 200 IM (1:48:88) and the 500 Free (4:22:36). He was also part of the 400 Free Relay Team that set a school record (3:03:22).
"The past seven years representing EA in both the pool and the classroom have been an incredible experience," said Ivan. "I'm honored and appreciative to the Delaware County Chapter of the PA Sports Hall of Fame for selecting me as one of their winter scholar athletes, and I am privileged to cap of my high school career with this award."
Nine student-athletes were honored at a luncheon on Tuesday, March 12.
