The football team kicked off its Inter-Ac schedule on Friday, October 12 with a 35-26 win against Springside Chestnut Hill Academy.
The team ended the first half- trailing 13-7. "Striking early and often in the third quarter, we scored three touchdowns as running back DeeWil Barlee '19 rushed for two and quarterback Marcus McDaniel '21 found Sophomore TE Joe Graham on the second of his three touchdown passes on the night," said Varsity Head Coach Todd Fairlee.
SCH capitalized on a turnover and had a chance to tie the game. "Our defense held strong as line backer Carter Strid '19 held- while a group of Churchmen would rally to the ball," said Coach Fairlee.

The team's current record is 5-1. The Churchmen take on undefeated Malvern Prep away on Saturday, October 20 at 1:30 p.m.
