Out of more than 4,500 entries, EA is proud to have been recognized with two 2022 CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education) Circle of Excellence Awards for videos produced during the pandemic. Sitting amongst winners from prestigious higher education institutions across the country, EA was selected as an award winner for two videos:
"sEAsons of Love" (Gold)
Focuses on the closeness of the EA community even in extraordinary times.
"Center for Teaching and Learning at Episcopal Academy" (Bronze)
Details the crucial role CTL has had in support and success of our students and faculty throughout the pandemic.
Though the pandemic kept our students and faculty physically apart for several months, the sense of community at EA remained as strong as ever due to the amazing use of video and can-do attitudes. In fact, the strategic use of video became critical during COVID to help engage with our community and celebrate a successful, albeit very different, 2020-21 academic year.
"Every year is important," said Middle School Health Teacher Kim Piersall, Hon. "And the years of school are like building blocks. So 2020 was not just a wash–it really matters for kids."
