This November, the Crawford Campus Center Gallery will present Fresh Eyes: Campus Views by the Lower School Photography Club. On display Nov. 7-26, Fresh Eyes will bring a new perspective to our campus through the lens of some of our youngest learners.
Led by Lower School teacher Lindsay McAvoy, The Episcopal Academy Photography Club meets weekly during the spring term to capture the blooming campus in all its beauty, while learning about proper camera use and technique including angles, spacing, and lighting before diving into taking and editing photos. The student photographers are challenged each week with learning a new skill including wide angle, close-up, top-down, or inside-out to expand their personal lens in the craft. Through these opportunities, our young artists learn to hone their individual styles and enhance their creativity that enables them to showcase a personal view of the world that surrounds them.
