Five Upper School musicians have auditioned for the All-State Concert Band and Wind Ensemble.
"Ashley Kim (flute), Nick Cerone (baritone sax), Felix Zhu (clarinet), Bobby Albani (alto sax), and Jonathan Hong (oboe), each worked tirelessly to prepare music for the virtual audition," explained Band Director Ryan Dankanich, Hon. "All five of these dedicated and outstanding musicians deserve praise for their hard work and this impressive accomplishment!"
Ashley and Felix were selected for the All-State Concert Band. "This marks the first time in EA's history that any band musician will represent the school at the state level." shared Mr. Dankanich.Jonathan moves to the next round for possible selection to the All-State Orchestra.
