A.J. Marcucci '17 has signed with the New York Red Bulls where he will continue his impressive soccer career.
In a press release issued by the Red Bulls, Marcucci said, "I feel very grateful to be joining this organization and I cannot wait to get started."
Marcucci missed his final season in goal with Connecticut College due to the pandemic. He was drafted by the Red Bulls in January.
Marcucci was named Division III Goalkeeper of the Year by several organizations in 2018 and 2019. In 2018, he was selected Player of the Year by the New England Small Colleges Athletic Conference (NESCAC). He was the third NESCAC player ever drafted in the MLS Superdraft. During his college career, Marcucci posted an impressive .887 save percentage.
