In the second half, with an assist from Kelly Smith '21, Macy Szukics '22 scored the only goal of the game. Tri-captain Lauren Devletian had three defensives saves. Sofia Acosta '21 also played strong defense- with one defensive save.
"It was a hard-fought game. Notre Dame very played well," said Coach Buggy. "They possessed the ball very nicely and had some dangerous corner opportunities."
It was EA's second straight win against Notre Dame. On October 23, EA broke Notre Dame's winning streak with a 3-1 win.
The team will face Germantown Academy in the PAISAA finals on Tuesday, November 13 at Bryn Mawr College.
