Inspired by a verse from Matthew 9:29-31, members of the Vestry, as well as the Lower and Middle School Chapel Councils, selected Become What You Believe as the Chapel theme for the 2022-23 school year.

"After considering all of the suggestions, the students felt Become What You Believe was perfect for several reasons," explained Chaplain Tim Gavin, Hon. "The phrase allows for a diversity of thoughts and insights into how it applies to our community. It also allows people of different faith traditions to articulate what it means to them and our community."

Another consideration is that the theme is understandable for all students — some as young as four years old.

"The new theme is meaningful for people of all ages," shared Father Tim. "It allows for the expression of our school motto, our mission, and our core values — The Stripes."
