We went BIG, thanks to YOU!

In honor of our final year of the Shape Tomorrow campaign, we asked the EA community to go BIG in their support of our beloved school by making their most meaningful gift to The Episcopal Fund on our bigger-than-ever Giving Days on Feb. 8-10... and the results were BIGGER than ever!

In just three days, 463 donors generously gave $512,678.52 to The Episcopal Fund in honor of the people, programs, and possibilities at EA!

From the bottom of our hEArts, THANK YOU for making our Go BIG Giving Days the BIGGEST and best in EA's history! Your extraordinary support will make a BIG impact on our students and faculty as we all work to shape tomorrow.

Go BIG Challenges

We have a BIG goal of raising $500,000 in just three days for The Episcopal Fund. To help us get there, several parents and alumni are generously offering challenge gifts to inspire you to give back and Go BIG in your own way.

Go BIG Challenge

When we raise $450,000 for The Episcopal Fund by 11:59 p.m. ET on Friday, Feb. 10, an additional $50,000 will be unlocked from parents with kids in the classes of 2024, 2026, and 2028 in support of student-led research projects and to bring us to our Go BIG goal of $500,000!

TOTAL: $512,678.52/$450,000 — CHALLENGE UNLOCKED!

Lower School Parent Challenge

When we reach our goal of 60 gifts to The Episcopal Fund from Lower School parents, an additional $18,000 will be unlocked from the parents of a fellow Lower School student.

TOTAL: 83/60 — CHALLENGE UNLOCKED!

Alumni Challenge

When we reach our goal of 250 gifts to The Episcopal Fund from alumni, an additional $25,000 will be unlocked from David ’80 and Kathy Reape.

Reunion Challenge

When we reach our goal of 50 gifts to The Episcopal Fund from alumni celebrating a milestone reunion this year (classes ending in 3 or 8), an additional $10,000 will be unlocked from an alum from the Class of 2003.

Parent Pretzel Challenge

Students in the class with the highest parent participation in Go BIG by Friday, Feb. 10, at 11:59 p.m. ET will be treated to soft pretzels! Each division (Lower, Middle, and Upper School) will have a winning class.

What is Go BIG?

Go BIG is EA’s bigger-than-ever Giving Day for the final year of the Shape Tomorrow campaign. Go BIG will take place from midnight ET on Wednesday, Feb. 8- Friday, Feb. 10, at 11:59 p.m. ET.

This is our opportunity to Go BIG for the people, programs, and possibilities at EA that have gone BIG for us as students, parents, and alumni. Anyone can participate by making a gift meaningful to them to the designation of their choice within The Episcopal Fund.

What is The Episcopal Fund?

The Episcopal Fund is EA’s number one fundraising priority. Accounting for 11 percent of the operating budget, annual giving through avenues like The Episcopal Fund bridges the gap between tuition and the school’s operating expenses. This means that your gift will have an immediate impact on the daily life of the students, faculty, and staff who bring the EA experience to life.

Gifts to The Episcopal Fund can be designated to support academics, the arts, athletics, DEI, faculty, financial aid, spirituality/community service, technology, or the area of greatest need.

Now in its final year, the Shape Tomorrow campaign focuses on the people who make EA so special: our students and faculty. This historic campaign’s priorities position The Episcopal Academy to respond to changes in education and the wider world far into the future. The success we achieve together through June 30, 2023, strengthens our capacity to create the flexible, astute leaders the world needs through the most impactful education, grounded in The Stripes and Mind, Body, and Spirit.
