Endowment & Capital

Gifts to our endowment and capital projects shape the future of The Episcopal Academy by providing lasting resources that ensure excellence for generations to come.

Endowment: A Permanent Foundation for EA’s Future

EA’s endowment is a permanent, sustainable source of funding that strengthens every aspect of the Episcopal experience—from faculty support and academic innovation to financial aid and student opportunity. Because only the income from the principal, not the principal itself, is spent, endowed funds provide money for Episcopal in perpetuity. Endowed funds can be established for a specified purpose or as unrestricted funds to meet the greatest needs of the school.

As of the 2025 fiscal year, EA’s endowment surpassed $150 million—a historic milestone for the school.

Endowment gifts are essential to preserving Episcopal’s mission and values. They increase our ability to recruit and retain top faculty, enroll talented students from all backgrounds, and invest in cutting-edge programs that inspire students to lead lives of purpose, faith, and integrity.

Donors may establish named endowed funds with a gift of $100,000 or more, or support an existing fund aligned with their interests with a gift of any size.

Capital: Building for the Next Generation

Capital gifts help bring transformational spaces and experiences to life across Episcopal’s campus. These gifts fund new construction, campus improvements, and the equipment and tools that support teaching and learning at the highest level. Naming opportunities are available throughout campus.

I give back because the experiences and faculty at EA shaped my time as a student in ways I’ll always value. I want to ensure future students have the chance to benefit from those same impactful opportunities. Dakin K. Ebmeyer ’23
