Giving to EA

To preserve its place as one of the finest independent day schools in the nation, The Episcopal Academy must rely on the generous financial support of its alumni, parents, and friends.

Annual Giving: The Episcopal Fund

Annual Giving is the lifeblood of The Episcopal Academy and is the number-one fundraising priority at Episcopal. It bridges the gap between the school's annual operating expenses and those proceeds collected from tuition and income from the school's endowment.

Capital & Endowment Giving

Capital campaigns are time-limited efforts proposed by the Board of Trustees for a specific need, such as construction of campus facilities or building the endowment. Growing the endowment is currently the school’s top capital fundraising priority. Of all the philanthropy that enables EA to fulfill its mission most effectively and most widely, gifts to endowment are the most powerful and permanent. A strong, growing endowment ensures EA’s financial health and sustainability and generates a predictable stream of income that supports planning for the future and leveraging potential.

EITC/OSTC

Through participation in the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) and Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC) programs, individuals and businesses with significant tax liability can earn PA tax credits when they make a contribution to a scholarship organization like The Episcopal Academy. Support of EA through these programs are critical to our mission of building an unmatched learning community.
