Our senior class is a diverse group of talented athletes, passionate artists, dedicated scholars, and compassionate friends. While we cannot celebrate our students in person, we honor their accomplishments with the below senior spotlights.
Congratulations to the Class of 2020. We cannot wait to see what you achieve next!
"Try not to be too hard on yourself. As long as you work hard--and give 100%--that is all that matters."
"I love crossing the finish line and knowing I gave it my all."
"I love the team aspect. I joined because I wanted to be a part of the team but instead I got a family."
"Don’t only cherish the good moments, cherish and remember the ones that were difficult and not always the fun parts (like run tests or moments you weren't successful) because those moments help you learn and become a better athlete."
"Always believe you can take on any attackmen."
"I love how much chemistry a team can build up and become so strong because of the chemistry."
"Just keep working at it, even if it doesn't seem like you'll get play time this year. The thing I regret most about high school is not working hard enough in sports as a lower classman."
"Some sports don’t have a team aspect, which is why lacrosse is so special. I love playing for and with my best friends."
"I love the physicality, brotherhood and competitive nature of lacrosse. Lacrosse is also one of the oldest sports and has an amazing tradition and a tightly knit community."
"Rowing has helped me develop my athleticism, coachability, and time management skills in a way that I know will stay with me for the rest of my life."
"It teaches you to work together to achieve a common goal and more importantly it teaches you adversity and how to overcome it."
"I love the competitive nature of the sport, but more specifically the feeling of the whole team coming together to play and win as a whole."
"I love that the theatre program has brought me into contact with so many people I wouldn’t otherwise know. I’ve put on these shows while also making lifelong friends."
"Don’t waste time apologizing for a mistake on the field; learn from it and don’t do it again."
"I know that every time I am on the starting line that I have every single person's support to do my best and that they are cheering me on, which makes me run the best race I can for the team."
“Work hard in silence, let success make all the noise.”
"I love that each time that I step onto the track, either in a practice or in a meet, I’m competing against myself, always striving to perfect my technique and shorten my time. The feeling that I get every time I cross the finish line is a feeling that I wouldn’t trade for anything in the world."
"Baseball has been the catalyst that has driven me to push myself in competition while bonding and making friendships that will last a lifetime. For that, I am forever thankful."
"Episcopal Baseball has given me more than I could have ever asked for out of a program and I’m forever grateful for that. I wouldn’t trade the memories with my teammates and coaches for anything."
"This truly is a selfless sport where everyone on the team needs to work together, and I think that is something special."
