Meet the EA Olympians
Nick Mead ’13 (Rowing) 🥇
Nick is a two-time Olympian, previously having finished 4th in the men's four at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. The nine-time national team member won a silver medal in the men's four at the 2023 World Rowing Championships and was named Male Rower of the Year by USRowing in 2023. Nick competed as a part of the men’s four in Paris, winning Team USA's first gold medal in rowing in 64 years. Nick was also voted by his fellow Team USA teammates to be the Closing Ceremonies flag bearer, alongside Katie Ledecky.
Ivan Puskovitch ’19 (Marathon Swimming)
Ivan qualified for the Paris Games in the open water 10K marathon swim event, making him only the fifth American male to qualify for this event in any Olympics. He earned his spot in Paris by placing 14th at the World Aquatics Championships in Doha, Qatar.
Jovana Sekulić ’21 (Water Polo)
Jovana, a US Water Polo center, earned third-team All-American Honors as a freshman and led her Princeton team to the NCAA Final Four for the first time in program history. She has been part of the U.S. team for the last two world championships, scoring four times in Doha in 2024 to win gold. She joins the three-time reigning Olympic champion US Water Polo squad, a powerhouse in her own right.
Ashley Sessa ’22 (Field Hockey)
Ashley, a high-performing member of the reigning NCAA championship UNC field hockey team, was named All-South Region and second-team All-ACC, finishing her freshman season with 23 points on nine goals and five assists. A member of the U.S. Women’s National Team, she also participated in FIH Pro League play in New Zealand and Australia. Ashley is the youngest player to be named to the Olympic roster, and is ready to take Paris by storm!

Jovana Sekulić '21
4th: Women's Water Polo
Team USA was the three-time defending Olympic champions heading into the Games and had a second place rank in Group B of pool play. After winning their quarterfinal match and losing their semi-final, the squad advanced to the Bronze Medal match, where the fell to the Netherlands in the final second of the match.
Ashley Sessa '22
9th: Women's Field Hockey
Team USA was ranked #13 heading into the Games and wrapped up play with a 1-0 win against South Africa. The squad finished 9th overall, going 1-3-1 in pool play
