Welcome to Lower School.

In Lower School, we challenge and nurture Mind, Body, and Spirit through a robust and diverse curriculum that encourages children to explore, learn, and grow.

We recognize that each student is a physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional being and the function of education is to help our students develop in each of these areas. As such, we create a nurturing and supportive environment where teachers, students, and parents work actively together in a well-designed program of academic, artistic, athletic, and religious activities.

During our 12-day schedule, students are introduced to language arts, social studies, mathematics, science, drama, art, music, Spanish, physical education, and computer and library classes. Our students also participate in Chapel activities every six days. Throughout Lower School, no letter grades are given. Instead, we work to enhance what is already within each child to help them find their own voice and place within our community.
