EAPA Newtown Post
Freshly-roasted coffee, cold brew, assorted teas, cocoa, healthy smoothies and snacks are served! The Newtown Post is a small building that was renovated by a group of EA parents who envisioned a welcoming place on campus for the entire EA community to enjoy. All members of the EA community are welcome at the Newtown Post, including EA parents, guardians, faculty, staff, students, and alumni. Because hot beverages are served, all children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. The interior has been meticulously restored, complete with gas fireplace, restroom, kitchen, and coffee bar. There are tables, chairs, benches, and a flat-screen TV as well as wireless Internet access.
The Newtown Post is nestled between the Lower School parking lot and the maintenance building. Please park in a legitimate parking spot in the back row of the Lower School parking lot when visiting the Newtown Post.

The Newtown Post may be reserved any time during school hours. First, check the EA calendar for the date you have in mind and see if The Post is available. If it is, email Sue King, firstname.lastname@example.org, to go over procedures. She will then reserve your event. Consider using "The Post" for your next parent coffee, teacher meeting, alumni gathering or committee planning session.
Although there are no formal charges for beverages, the Newtown Post is dependent upon donations to support the costs of operation. A donation box is located on the coffee bar. Everyone’s financial support is therefore greatly appreciated. And, baked goods donations are always welcome (please no nuts)!
The Newtown Post is run entirely by trained volunteers during regular hours of operation. To volunteer for morning shifts, please click here. To volunteer for afternoon shifts, please click here.
