EA allows faculty to grow, experiment, and take chances.
Join our community of dedicated, passionate, life-long learners. We are delighted that you are interested in The Episcopal Academy. All current job openings are posted at right.
The Episcopal Academy, located in Newtown Square, PA, offers college preparatory education for more than 1,200 boys and girls from PK-12th Grade in three units: Lower, Middle and Upper schools.
More than 70 percent of Episcopal's 200 faculty members hold advanced degrees and 100 have served the Academy for ten years or more. Our “Mind, Body, Spirit" approach to educating children offers faculty the opportunity to serve as teachers, coaches and advisors and to develop meaningful, lasting relationships with students and with the entire school community.
Episcopal is committed to being an inclusive community and is working towards becoming more diverse. Currently, we have 14% faculty of color and 26% students of color. Episcopal also values socioeconomic and religious diversity and while we are an Episcopal School, we have many different faiths represented in both the faculty and student body.
The Episcopal Academy does not discriminate in employment opportunities or practices on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability and familial affiliation or any other characteristic protected by law. We seek candidates who hope to help foster a school environment where all people are valued and where all perspectives are respected and appreciated, as described in our Diversity and Inclusion statement.
I have never worked under a better leadership team than I have at EA. Our administrators give us the freedom to teach our classes how we want, and as creatively as we want.
The community here is so warm. Episcopal is like a family, and I love it. Coming to work every day is pure excitement and joy!
EA helped me become the teacher I am today in so many ways. First and foremost, I have great respect for the teachers who inspired me as a student. EA has also supported me as I received my Masters in Education, and has continued to support me as I now pursue my second Masters in International Relations.
