Giving to the Episcopal Academy

To preserve its place as one of the finest independent day schools in the nation, The Episcopal Academy must rely on the generous financial support of its alumni, parents, and friends.

It is only through these thoughtful contributions from members of our community that we are able to maintain the educational excellence that has been synonymous with the Academy since its founding in 1785. We encourage you to learn about our various funding initiatives and sincerely thank you for your continued support.

Annual Giving

Annual Giving is the lifeblood of the Academy. It bridges the gap between the school's annual operating expenses and those proceeds collected from tuition and income from the school's endowment. Successful Annual Giving campaigns preserve the principal of our endowment and afford the school much needed flexibility in its budgetary planning. Contributions to the Annual Fund directly and immediately benefit each and every member of the student and faculty. For this reason, Annual Giving is always the school's first fundraising priority. Capital & Endowment Giving

Capital campaigns are time-limited efforts proposed by the Board of Trustees for a specific need, such as construction of campus facilities or building the endowment. Following the enormous success of the Ever Episcopal Campaign, the school will continue to encourage significant capital gifts toward major building or endowment projects. Growing the endowment is currently the school’s number one capital fundraising priority. Learn more.

Planned Giving

Planned giving encompasses a variety of strategies that help you provide for charities while also advancing your own personal objectives. Popular planned gifts include bequests, which allow you to retain control of your assets during your lifetime; life income gifts that pay you and your family income and then help Episcopal; naming EA as a beneficiary of your retirement plan or life insurance policy; and gifts of real estate or other personal property. For more information on ways to make a planned gift, please contact Episcopal’s Office of Planned Giving at 484-424-1780 or visit our planned giving pages.
