Fifth annual Michelle’s Miles is a huge success

Michelle’s Miles attracted nearly 600 runners and walkers to Episcopal Academy’s sun-splashed campus on October 14 for the annual races that celebrate the life of Michelle Deasey, a talented and dedicated Episcopal Academy (EA) third grader who unexpectedly passed away in late 2007.
A portion of the race proceeds are directed to the Michelle Deasey ’17 Memorial Scholarship Fund, while the rest of the proceeds support the Episcopal Academy Parents’ Association (EAPA).
The top five male finishers in the 2012 Michelle’s Miles’ 5-K race were: Kevin Durkin (17:22); Matt Deasey (17:55); Paul Randolph (18:50); Michael Deasey (18:51); and Matt Depillis ’16 (18:59).
The top five female 5-K race finishers were: Linda Hawke ’P (18:33); Patrice Conroy (21:56); Dana Marino ’P (22:01); Tara Boyle ’15 (23:40); and Molly McCarthy ’15 (24:07).
