The boys' varsity squash team upset reining high school national champions- The Haverford School (6-3) on Thursday, December 7. Five of the nine matches went to five games. Three of the five EA players won those close matches. The closest fifth game was played by Billy Stavropoulos '20. Playing in the number eight position, Billy eked out the win in game five, 12-10.
On Tuesday, December 12 the boys swept Penn Charter (9-0). On Thursday, December 14 they beat the Harriton/Lower Merion team (8-1).
The girls' varsity kicked off its season with a win against The Lawrenceville School (5-4) on Wednesday, December 6. With the match tied at 4-4, Caroline Burt '20 won in a tight four-game match.
On Thursday, December 7- the girls dominated Springside Chestnut Hill Academy (8-1). On Thursday, December 14 the team lost to rival the Agnes Irwin School (9-0).
