The Middle School music ensembles recently represented EA at 2017 Music in the Parks at Hersheypark. The Middle School Orchestra, Chamber Ensemble, Cantores, Middle School Singers, Symphonic Band, and Jazz Band each performed before a panel of judges. The panel provided constructive feedback on each performance and a total score for each ensemble.
The ratings for this competition are superior, excellent, good, fair, and poor. Ratings and rankings of EA's ensembles are listed below.
Seventh grader William Sargent received special recognition as an Outstanding Vocalist. He was chosen from a group of all middle school students from the participating school.
The event took place on Friday, May 12.
