Senior swimmer Alex Sumner has been named Main Line Girls Athlete of the Week.
In December, she helped lead the EA Swimming and Diving Team to a win against rival Germantown Academy. She swam to first place in both the 100 Fly and 100 Backstroke.
In August, Alex won silver in the 200 Backstroke at the Junior World Championships. She holds several EA pool records and will continue her swimming career at Cal-Berkeley.
