to the Episcopal Academy! We are delighted that you are looking
into EA as one of the schools to consider for your child's education.
I hope that our admission materials will help answer some questions
you may have about Episcopal, as well as provide you with an
overview of our admission process.
Our major entry points are Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten,
6th Grade, and 9th Grade; students are admitted to other grades
depending on spaces available in particular classes. A combination
of testing, school reports, teacher recommendations, and the
child's visit help determine whether Episcopal's program and
the child's development are the best match.
Application should be made in the fall prior to the year
of desired enrollment. Admission committees review all completed
applications starting in December; the majority of decisions
are made before the end of January. Applications received
after that are decided upon as soon as they are completed.
