Student Profiles : Alesha

Hey my name is Alesha I’m 17 years old and a junior at Episcopal Academy. I f there was anything that I’d change in the world it be the injustice that underprivileged children face just because of the circumstance they were brought into the world. There isn’t much that I would change about myself. I like the fact that I can change my hair style any day of the week, or that I don’t have all the luscious curves that the world deems beautiful. I love my exotic features my eyes, my lips, my thighs. Anything and Everything makes me happy, I’m such an easy going person and I can get along with anyone. It takes a lot to make me upset but I never stay upset for more than a second. -  I love reality shows like “I love New York” “America’s Next Top Model” and “The Real World.” All my friends would agree that I love beauty (products) and love to shop! My interests include shopping, running track, writing poetry, volunteering (I love to give back to the community), hanging out with friends, going to parties and just having fun!  What makes me feel better whenever I feel like the world is crashing down on me is prayer, turning to my friends, or listening to music. Lastly I joined CROSS Bridge because I know that it’s an amazing program which brings Philly and Suburb kids together for mutual exchange of ideas. I think that because we come from or at least because our schools are in different areas of the Philadelphia we can learn a lot from each other.
