    From the Delaware County Daily Times: The leg that incurred torn ligaments six months ago wasn’t dogging D.C. Gaitley Friday night.   • Taylor Wright is Main Line Athlete of the Week

    Wright, a 6-foot-4 senior wing, is averaging 17 points, 13 rebounds and five assists per game for the Churchmen. He was MVP of the Garnet Valley Tournament last month, and last season scored 29 points against Shipley to help EA win the Pennsylvania Independent Schools Tournament B Championship.

  • Germantown Academy tops Episcopal Academy, 54-35

    Craig Conlin was hoping for a different thanks-for-all-you-did present from his former basketball pupils at Germantown Academy. In the opener of Saturday's Dan Dougherty Inter-Academic League tripleheader, Conlin, taking over at Episcopal Academy after 14 years of service at GA, was forced to watch seniors Beau Jones and Greg Guers put some of his past teachings to work.

  • Old friends square off as foes Saturday

    After nine seasons as the head baseball coach at Germantown Academy, Craig Conlin stepped away from that position in 2007. He and assistant coach Jon Cross had built the Patriots into a national power during Conlin’s tenure, highlighted by the 2004 team that went 32-2 and was ranked sixth in the country.
