    EA softball team cruises to 18-2 win over Baldwin

    Episcopal Academy’s Liz Capper bashed a three-run double as part of a four-RBI afternoon, while Gabby Donatucci went 4 for 4 with a triple, double and four RBIs. Alex Viscusi excelled both on the mound (picking up the win and notching four strikeouts) and in the batter’s box (3 for 3 with a triple and two RBIs) for EA.

  • Sarah Abbonizio ’14 earns first-team All-Delco honors

    The sharpshooting guard with the net-snapping jumper led EA to a second straight Inter-Ac regular season title in 2013-14.     Just the right pitch

    EA senior pitcher Mark Washington (104 pitches, seven strikeouts) was stellar in the Churchmen’s 4-3 victory against visiting Germantown Academy on April 11. Washington’s mom Rosella Clemmons Washington, a professional Jazz singer, died on May 19 last year, from complications due to breast cancer, her second fight with the disease. Mark brings his mother to the mound when he pitches.     The EA senior wrestler finished his career with 95 varsity wins, including an impressive 36-10 record this season.
