  • EA girls track team earns Inter-Ac title

    The Episcopal Academy girls track team won the 2013 Inter-Ac outdoor championships held on Saturday, May 11 at Germantown Academy.

    EA scored 125 points, beating Springside Chestnut Hill by one point. GA placed third with 110. The victory was a total team effort for EA as 14 team members scored during the day in 12 out of 13 total events. For full details, click more. (photo credit to Jackie Szafara)

  • EA captures three Cappies

    The Episcopal Academy’s production of “The Love of Three Oranges” earned three Cappies at the Eighth Annual Greater Philadelphia Cappies Awards at the Upper Darby High School Performing Arts Center on May 5. Episcopal Academy won for Best Sound, with the crew of Brady McManus, Melina Walling and Sophie Walker; Best Featured Actress in a Play by Margaret LeBoeuf; and Best Lead Actress in a Play by Maria Burke.   • Girl's Track Relay Wins 4 x 400 at Penn Relays

    The Episcopal Academy girls 4 x 400 relay team won the Philadelphia Academic race at the Penn Relays on April 25th. Their time of 4:00.57, a school record, was three seconds better than second place finisher (and defending champion) Villa Joseph Marie. This was the third time that EA won their division (2002 - 4:15, 2003 - 4:13).

  • Episcopal crew earns two first-place finishes at Inter-Ac Girls Championships

    The Episcopal Academy crew team earned two first-place finishes at the Interac Girls Championships April 27 on the Schuylkill River. The Girls Varsity 4x (Kelly McGowan, Caroline Purtill, Julianne Dones and Robyn Farrell) finished in first place in their race. The Girls Varsity 4+ (Robyn Farrell, Amanda Molitor, Kelly McGowan, Julianne Dones and coxswain Allison Jacoby) finished first with a time of 5:08.5, six seconds ahead of second place finisher Germantown Academy and 19 seconds ahead of third place Agnes Irwin.
