My update: I am chief development officer of a faith based international poverty relief organization called HOPE worldwide. I am fortunate to work to generate support for an incredibly compassionate and skilled team of people around the world who are bringing hope to people in some of the world's most desperate situations. We serve over 2 million people annually. Our three primary service areas are health care, disaster relief and vocational training, and we mobilize a large base of highly motivated volunteers. Everyone involved with this work experiences the truth of Churchill's words: We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.
