Developmental Team
All Developmental Swimmers are eligible to attend swim meets.
Developmental White:
The majority of time is spent working on refining stroke mechanics. These swimmers have started to exhibit good swimming skills and will be introduced to some training skills and processes. Swimmers are encouraged to attend two to three practices per week.
Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday 6:00-6:45pm; Saturday 9:00-10:00am
Developmental Blue:
Stroke development and refinement continue in this group. The Developmental Blue will also be introduced to low-impact interval training and race strategies and preparation. Swimmers are encouraged to attend two to three practices per week

Age Group Team
Age Group White:
These swimmers have started to exhibit good swimming skills. They spend their time equally between stroke technique and training skills and processes. These swimmers are well-versed in technique and strategy. They are also a full-fledged training group. Swimmers are encouraged to attend three to four practices per week.

Age Group Blue:
The higher end of our age-group program continues the progression as swimmers move forward and increase the volume and intensity of their daily training. Stroke refinement continues and a greater focus is placed on race strategy and preparation. Athletes in this group are setting higher goals for themselves and are working with their coach to determine "what it takes" to achieve those goals. Dry-land training continues and athletes are exposed to low-impact core-strength training and stretching through this program. Swimmers are encouraged to attend four to five practices per week.

Junior Team
Junior White :
This Group is allotted more time and continues the progression as swimmers move forward and increase the volume and intensity of their daily training. Stroke refinement continues and a greater focus is placed on race strategy and preparation. There is an increase in yardage to prepare the swimmers for the workload given in the next group (Senior White). Dry land training continues and athletes are exposed to low-impact core-strength training, stretching and nautilus use through this program. Swimmers are encouraged to attend four to five practices per week.

Senior Team
Senior White :
The Senior White consists of High School swimmers and other swimmers
that exhibit a high level of swimming and workout ability. These
swimmers are expected to be mature, dedicated, responsible, and
dependable. Athletes in this group are training at higher volumes and
paces with more focus on endurance-based outcomes in their performance.
Goal setting is an important part of this group, as these swimmers are
looking to continually progress through the eaac program and the world
of swimming. Dry-land training becomes more intense at this level and
is stressed throughout the season. Swimmers are encouraged to attend
five to six practices per week

Senior Blue:
This is the highest performing level in eaac swimming, and athletes in this group have made a total commitment to the sport of swimming on a year-round basis. Total volume and intensity of training is high, and seasonal plans are based on training and taper for peak performance at championship meets. The top end of this elite group has a season plan geared around performance at national level meets. Dry-land training focuses on strength development and flexibility, two key components of fast swimming. Athletes in this group will work with their primary coach to determine an optimal training schedule to allow them to achieve both their short and long term seasonal goals. Swimmers are encouraged to attend six practices per week.
